It's that time of year when I receive an influx of emails with questions concerning careers in marketing, salary and whether or not an individual is right for the marketing industry. On the outside marketing and advertising careers look like a full-time party. It's true there are perks to these careers, but there are also challenges that we face in the industry.
How do you know if you are right for a career in marketing? If you are offered a job what type of salary should you expect? Can you enter a marketing career if it was not your college major?
